Fenny Compton is a thriving village of around 800 people. The neighbouring village of Avon Dassett has around 200 residents. Amenities in the parish include the Parish Church, Roman Catholic Church and Methodist Chapel, The Dassett CE Primary School, Abacus day nursery, Surgery and Co-op.

The Parish Church in Fenny Compton is open during daylight hours for prayer and quiet reflection. The earliest parts of the current building date back to c.1320. The church is dedicated to the apostle St Peter and (through its historical links to the Augustinian Canons of Kenilworth) to St Clare of Montefalco.

We have a good relationship with The Dassett School, where members of our congregation are part of the Open the Book assemblies team.

Every month the church provides the Just A Bite lunch in Fenny Compton village hall. This provides fellowship and home-made food for those who are at home during the day, including some parents with young children as well as older people.

The churches in the Dassett Magna Group are committed to the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.
If you have any concerns about the safety or well-being of a child or vulnerable adult, especially at any of our Family Services or events, then please contact the parish safeguarding officer ( Tel. 07999 849374) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser.
